Today has been very good, we have driven to Erinhot, it has been a day of contrast and change, we started off in fairly subsistence farming land, and traveled through countryside that got ever flatter, as it did so we came upon massive new towns that our fellow travelers who were here for the last rally three years ago say were just a few houses. Also there are big industrial areas in the middle of nowhere, new fuel stations (many not yet open) by the truck load, The farming got bigger, and then we emerged in the grass planes South of the Gobi desert where we stopped at “Yurtlins by the Gobi” where people flock to take a holiday………………….. surreal.
All that will be explained in the next lot of photos, in the mean time I have just posted the last lot.
